L'Abbraccio
The breadth of interests and disciplines within Gaetano Pesce's long career is impossible to pin down. Furniture designer, civic engineer, architect, draftsman, painter... And he's still working, today. Most known for his feminist UP chair, his works are often bitingly funny, honest, and (surprisingly) optimistic. Despite all this, he had very little involvement with the world of fine art, until recently. Below are some pieces developed for his first state-side exhibition in over 30 years.
